St. Francis Center (SFC) is a refuge for men and women who are homeless in the metro Denver area, providing services that enable people to meet their basic needs for daily survival and to transition out of homelessness. On an average day, SFC is visited by 642 different people; although, on a busy day, we have as many as 800 people pass through our door.
It is a safe, inviting place to be during the day when other shelters are unavailable. Our staff includes a social worker, nurse, mental health counselor and employment specialist and each of them is available to assist SFC guests* with their concerns.
More than anything else, St. Francis Center offers hope when it is needed most.
