Financial Contributions
Your financial donation to St. Francis Center can assist in many ways:
- Continue St. Francis Center’s 23 year history of being open and available to people who are homeless.
- Keep our doors open, so we turn away no one.
- Offer the basics of life: shower, clothing, shelter from the weather; a place to be with other individuals.
- Assistance in connecting with family and/or friends via case manager, phone service, and the ability to use the SFC address.
- Continue to offer needed Programs such as Employment, Outreach and Housing.
- Allow SFC to purchase, when supplies are low, items such toilet paper, soap, shampoo, trash bags, underwear and socks which are all needed year round.
Our current facility at 2323 Curtis Street is in need of maintenance to accommodate the higher number of individuals who have need of the facility’s services. This includes capital repairs and obtaining tables, chairs, etc. for our guests.
Eighty-five percent of the incoming funds is spent directly on programs and services, so your financial contribution would greatly assist SFC with continuing these needed programs and services.
St. Francis Center is an Enterprise Zone designee. Cash contributions up to $100,000 per year can receive a 25% State Credit and 12.5% for donation of in-kind contributions up to the value of $50,000. SFC will forward the appropriate paperwork upon receipt of your donation of $200 or more.
