St. Francis Center to
celebrate 25 years of
ministry in Denver.
Silver Anniversary Events
Being Planned...
25 years after its founding in 1983,St. Francis Center continues its vibrant
ministry to the vulnerable and homeless
in the Denver Metro area. The Center
has evolved into so much more than just
refuge from life on the street. In honor
of its history and ongoing development,
St. Francis Center is planning a year full
of special events and remembrances.
A committee has been formed to assist in planning for Silver Anniversary activities.
These activities include a Gala Dinner, BBQ
Picnic at the Center, Volunteer Dinner,
Cornerstone Ground Breaking Event, Open
House, and a music concert. The committee
is chaired by Rebecca Baggett and Steve
Wilson from the Board of Directors.
Individuals who are interested in helping to
run these events should contact Andrew
Spinks at the Center: 303.244.0745.
The central event of the celebration
will be a Gala Dinner Auction planned for
Saturday, October 11, 2008. The dinner
will be held at the Marriot City Center
with hopes of attracting over 500 supporters
to celebrate this momentous occasion.
The Gala will be held in place of our annual
May dinner.
