Employment Program

Our Employment Office administers two programs: a Day Labor Service and a Long-Term Job Referral Service.

Employers who have used our services range in size from small to very large. Our registrants have been employed by individual homeowners, small companies and corporations in a wide variety of positions and in multiple industries.

People who are registered with our Office possess skills and experience in a wide variety of professions and trades. Some of the skills our registrants have possessed have included:

• Painting
• Management
• Carpentry
• Landscaping and yard work
• Computer operations
• General labor
• Household and business moving

Many of our registrants are out of work because of business closings or employment cuts. Some of our registrants are looking for temporary jobs until they get settled and/or find long-term positions.

Requirements:

• Come to our office between 7 A.M. and 11:45 A.M. Mon. – Fri.
• Possess a Social Security card and a State issued photo I.D.
• Complete our application.
• Attend SFC orientation session.
